Prolom Banja is a spa in the central part of Serbia, near Kursumlija and about 320 km from Belgrade. Its altitudes varies from 550 and 650 m.a.s.l., and it stands between the Sokolovica and Radan mountains. The Prolom Banja springs yield a rare variety of mineral water, the akratothermal water whose temperature is 27 degrees Celcius. It contains free hydrogen sulfide, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chlorine, sulphates and nitrates.
